Not able to connect to the review server or publish comments

Symptom: You cannot connect to the review server or publish comments from Workspace.

Resolution: When you cannot connect to the review server or publish comments, the problem lies with your credentials or your identity:

  • Verify the server name and port in the Root Node WebDAV Location configuration parameter in the ReviewZoneProviderService in the Configuration view of Workbench.

  • Verify that the email ID specified in Acrobat or Adobe Reader preferences is the same as configured in Adobe User Management.

  • If you have recently changed your password in LiveCycle, then clear the Acrobat Synchronizer password cache, if you were using save password option. (See Cannot access reviews when the password changes on the LiveCycle server .)

  • Acrobat keeps track of all the review documents that you have reviewed and checks with the review for those documents. In Acrobat or Adobe Reader, click Get New Comments to determine whether authentication is required. If it is not related to the current document in review, then in Acrobat Review Tracker clear the review’s history. To clear the history, remove the review from Acrobat Review Tracker
