Cannot access reviews when the password changes on the LiveCycle server

Symptom: When users participate in a review using Acrobat Shared Review, the user is prompted to enter their credentials. The credentials allow the user to store their comments or to access the review zone, Content Services. After changing their password on the LiveCycle server, users cannot participate in reviews.

Resolution : The password is stored by Acrobat and uses your old password. Complete the following steps to clear the Acrobat password cache:

  1. Quit Acrobat or Adobe Reader.

  2. In Task Manager, right-click Acrobat.exe , if it exists, and click End Process .

  3. Right click AdobeCollabSync.exe , and click End Process . Close Task Manager.

  4. Open regedit.

  5. Delete the elements under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Synchronizer\9.0\Credentials .
