Configuring the review template to use a custom task

You can modify the <assign_task_to_reviewer> or <assign_task_to_approver> elements in the review template. Alternatively, configure a review template to use a custom task using the solution template.

1. In a web browser, log in to http://[server name]:[port number]/reviewportal with a user profile that is configured with the RCA Template Author.

2. In the Templates tab, create a review template or modify an existing one.

3. In stage configuration section, select Custom Task type from Task Type list.

4. The option for selecting a Process name for assigning a task to a reviewer or an approver becomes available. Select the custom task processes you created.

   For example, select MyCustomApp/prepareDocumenForReviewModified for the process created in Changing the Assign Task Process to use the custom prepareDocumentForReview task .
