Enabling pooling in Review, Commenting, and Approval building block

You can enable pooling in the Review, Commenting, and Approval building block to achieve high levels of concurrently. Configure the Review, Commenting, and Approval service when you create a custom process to prepareDocuments for review that use the Assembler service:

1. In LiveCycle Administration Console, navigate to Home > Services > Applications and Services > Service Management and search for the prepareDocumentsForReview service.

2. In service configuration screen, click the Pooling tab.

3. Configure the following settings:

   • Request Processing Strategy: Pooled Instances for All Requests

   • initial Service Instance Pool Size: 0

   • Maximum Service Instance Pool Size: 5

   • Maximum Asynchronous Service Instances: 0

   • Invocation Wait Timeout: 1800000

4. Save and restart the service.
