Assembly descriptor usage
There are assembler descriptor (DDX) files that you modify
that control how documents are assembled for reviews. Do not modify
the provided DDX files because they implement specific default building
block functionality. Instead, create a custom wn version of the
DDX file and modify your custom processes to use your custom DDX
file. For example, you can create a custom version of the PrepareDocumentForReview
process that uses a custom DDX file you created.
Consider using the provided DDX files as examples when you want
to create your own custom DDX files.
-
Supported to customize
directly indicates that you can modify the asset without breaking
building block functions. It is recommended that backup the file
before you edit it.
-
Supported to create a custom version indicates that you make
a copy of the provided asset (with a different name) and customize
it. You can configure properties in processes to use your custom
version.
-
Supported for use in custom processes indicates that there
are circumstances where the asset can be used when you create a
custom process. In general, if you modifying building block processes
that use asset, create a copy of the process.
