Custom Components Reference

When you create a Flex library project for a Guide extension, include the Guide runtime SWC file. Including the SWC file adds a collection of Guide extensions in a Guide folder in your Flash Builder Components view. The Guide extensions include everything necessary to create custom Guide layouts and panel layouts.

The custom components that you can add to layouts are listed alphabetically in the Flash Builder Components view but conceptually fall into the following categories:
